Varsha’s adoption was possible because, she was declared as a destitute after the process of law was completed. This is one of the most touching and amazing life story of an older child called Varsha who was rescued from a street circus group in 1998. She was provided with shelter at Valsalya Bhavan Annexe. Efforts to trace her biological parents were made by the organization, but this went in vain. So the authorities decleared her as destitute and free for adoption.
Mr. Raju and Mrs. Jolly amma was a couple without children and they were interested in adopting Varsha. After completing every formal procedures of the adoption, Varsha was handed over to the couple. She excelled and won many prizes for swimming and showed good interest in studies. She pursued Bsc Zoology, MP.Ed (Master of Physical Education) and started working as Physical Education Teacher at Leo XIII School in Allappuzha. She is also planning to join for a PhD program in Canada. Life of Varsha has changed with the timely intervention of Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan.
